JD Ross Energy are currently partnered with a Global energy group who are one of the largest oil and gas companies and also a large player in low-carbon energies. We are currently working with one of their subsidiaries who are a power and gas supplier to industrial and commercial enterprises along with municipal utilities. Due to substantial growth within the business, they are now looking to expand their commercial offering further by recruiting a Sales Coordinator for their I&C Partner/Broker channel to be based in either their Fellbach or Berlin offices.

The Role

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to focus on the proactive management and development of existing partner relationships, or acquisition and development of potential new partnerships with a view to expanding the I&C portfolio in accordance with the long-term business plan. Furthermore you will;

  • Finding, developing and managing new or existing partnerships to promote new business and accelerate growth in existing locations and in the value of future contracts in accordance with the respective targets, such as increasing margins and managing visits and risk
  • Looking after existing sales partners with the aim of establishing and maintaining profitable relationships in the long term
  • Carry out regular personal visits to their partners
  • Ensuring that communication between the company and their sales partners is effective, regular and of a high standard
  • Devising and implementing ongoing retention and acquisition strategies through effective and documented account planning
  • Market monitoring
  • Training sales partners in the use of complex energy efficiency products and solutions
  • Providing up-to-date information to sales and other relevant departments regarding all data that needs to be made available to achieve optimal cooperation between the company and their partners
  • Proactively developing and improving ideas (for products and services), together with their sales partners, in order to promote further growth
  • Close cooperation with the legal department to ensure that partner relationships comply with all legal requirements and that all contract-related activities are carried out properly.
  • Making sure that all marketing campaigns are planned jointly with the Marketing team, that they are run smoothly and effectively, and that their results are monitored regularly with a view to improving future campaigns
  • Providing detailed weekly reports
  • Ensuring that contracts and accompanying paperwork relating to new and existing sales partnerships are drawn up in time, stored/maintained in accordance with the company’s practices, and processed at the appropriate level of competence
  • Ensuring that our sales partners are aware of the high standards (ethical standards, compliance and quality standards) demanded by the business, and that they work in accordance with these

The Individual

  • Minimum three year experience in selling gas and ideally, electricity
  • Extensive knowledge of the German energy industry
  • Proven success in the acquisition of sales partners or in developing long-term relationships with sales partners
  • Good interpersonal skills, negotiating skills, assertiveness, ability to perform under stress
  • Independent, willing and able to assume responsibility
  • Willing and able to travel
