A major player in the European Utility sector is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their team in Germany. This is a great opportunity for a technical sales professional looking to join a well established and successful sales team.
You will be responsible for:
- Sales and delivery concepts including developing, maintaining and improving business relationships.
- Developing high level customer relationships
- Recommending strategic and technical responses to market trends
- Define, implement and review key account strategies
- Identify key stakeholders in customer processes
- Secure sales set-up with respect to capacities and qualifications
- Drive performance, lead resources and coach regional sales management teams
- Ensure tenders are initiated properly on a technical and contractual basis and handle the proposal development process
You must have:
- Degree in industrial or electrical engineering (or another related field)
- Strong experience in sales and contract management
- Experience in sales of the following technologies to industrial clients: Heat Pumps, District Energy, CHP
- Good knowledge of the German energy market with a strong focus on renewable and decentralised energy technologies.
- Sales professionalism with a good track record of achievements
- Analytical thinker with advanced communication skills
- Strong interpersonal influencing skills with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
- Strong negotiating skills
- Business fluent in English and preferably fluent in German
