Our Client is one of the world’s leading specialists in renewable energies. Their business activities are mainly focused in Solar due to the growth within the industry - Utility-scalel, this being said they are looking to expand their solar projects across Australia
As a result of signing new large scale Solar projects across Australia, they are looking to hire a Solar Asset Manager s to help grow, develop and manage projects in a new Lead role for their office

Job Descripition:

The position involves managing investments in operating and under-construction solar PV power plants in Australia.  The role includes a mix of technical and commercial functions including business planning, financial analysis, operational oversight and reporting, contract administration, site management, and environmental/regulatory compliance.  To the extent that the clients has arranged or wishes to arrange debt financing, the asset manager will actively support the process of arranging debt financing and be responsible for ongoing reporting requirements.


  • At least 5 years’ experience in asset management or technical roles (consultancy or corporate) in the solar sector is required
  • Experience with respect to negotiation, prosecution or execution of PPAs and EPC/O&M/connection agreements in the power sector
  • Experience with respect to assisting with the arranging of debt financing or reporting to debt financiers in the power sector
  • Solar PV experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Commerce and/or Engineering

You must have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Negotiation and execution skills at an external facing level
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and multi-task a variety of activities including cross-functional interaction internally
  • Significant attention to detail and a high level of organization
  • A strong desire to be a part of a rapidly growing business with an opportunity to progress
  • O&M contract
  • Connection agreement
  • Site and plant management that is outside of the scope of the O&M agreement
  • Insurance claims/compliance
  • Environmental compliance
  • Community relations
  • Registration of LGCs and other regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of Knowledge Sharing reports and documentation
